Briery Branch Lake
Briery Branch is a 9-acre lake located in the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests in Rockingham County. The lake is stocked with trout and channel catfish. Largemouth bass and bluegill are also present. Catfish angling should improve since this lake was stocked with catchable size (average 1.2 lbs) channel catfish in 1997, along with the normal fingerling catfish stocking.
