Wildlife Internship Network
The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (DGIF) currently offers unpaid internships to students who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. Opportunities may also be available for individuals currently enrolled in graduate school. Interns may be placed in any region/office where a need has been identified by staff. Every effort will be made to place an intern in the specific job field that is directly related to the major field of study. Interns will carry out a wide range of duties under the direction of an assigned manager/supervisor. Students may participate in the same internship opportunity for one or two semesters or during the summer.
What's Great About an Internship at DGIF?
