Firearms Safety PSA
With the spring turkey season upon us, the Hunter Education Unit would like to remind hunters to be ever mindful of safe practices while afield. To bring this important safety message to the forefront, the hunter education and video production staff have filmed and produced two (at this writing) public service announcements which are available to the public. One of which deals with the rather somber scenario relative to a completely preventable treestand incident (view video). The second is a much more uplifting reminder of our past, present and future responsibilities in the area of safe firearms handling. The music was recorded in house as well and certainly adds to the atmosphere of the message! We think you will enjoy both works and invite you to share with your family, friends and neighbors. Help spread the word!
