- Scoping period for staff and public input on hunting and trapping regulation issues
- August 17, 2010
- Staff present regulatory issues and concepts identified during the scoping period to the Board for its consideration and modification
- September 1 - November 1, 2010
- Public comment period to gather public input on regulatory issues and concepts from the August 17th DGIF Board meeting
- March 1, 2011
- Staff will present recommended regulation amendments to the Board; Board proposes regulation amendments
- Public Comment Period
- A 45-day public comment period, including public meetings (dates and locations to be announced), would be held to gain input on proposed regulation amendments
- May 3, 2011
- Staff will make final recommendations on proposed regulations; Board adopts final regulation amendments
- July 1, 2011
- Effective date for Board adopted regulations
