I strongly support allowing those who hold Totally and Permanently Disabled Licenses and Service-Connected Totally and Permanently Disabled Licenses to have the same opportunities as the Youth (under 16) such as Youth Waterfowl Hunt Days, Youth Fall and Spring Turkey Hunt Days and Youth Antlerless Deer regulation (where a youth can harvest an antlerless deer in any locality having at least one antlerless day).

If by granting this proposal, it means that I hunt game is may be spooked or harvested by those who are disabled, then I view this as a small price, especially for our men and woman who have service connected disabilities. This might allow these individuals to feel better about themselves and it would only be a choice. They would not be required to hunt when others could not or shoot a doe when others could not. They would just have the opportunity. Organizations such as Wheelin' Sportsman help those who are disabled who want to hunt and this might help others to take up or continue hunting. Various groups also take disable veterans on hunts to a great deal of joy to all, hunters and helpers.
