Provide more squirrel hunting opportunity.
Suggestions have been made to:
a. Open the spring squirrel season with spring gobbler season and run through June, and extend it to all private lands (an extension of the spring squirrel season by 2 months)
b. Allow spring squirrel hunting on all private lands during the current season
c. Allow the use of squirrel dogs during the spring squirrel season
d. Open some additional counties east of the Blue Ridge to fox squirrel hunting
