Add new seasons or change existing seasons.
Suggestions have been made to:
a. extend the bear season to include all of deer muzzleloader season and extra days of general firearms
b. increase the length of the season in Rappahannock Co, Spotsylvania Co, and in general where bear population allows.
c. extend bear archery season to overlap deer archery season
d. allow bear harvest during 2nd week of rifle season
e. not lengthen the archery season for bear
f. allow a short bear season in Southside Virginia during general firearms seasons, i.e. 1 or 2 days during a holiday or a weekend
