| June 21 - 22 | LESI© testing, LawFit® physical ability & swim (VSP HQ, Gym), Online Personal History Questionaire (PHQ) (follow instructions in letter), Personal History Statement (given to applicants at testing)(completed Personal History Statement due back to DGIF by July 1) |
| July 21 - August 1 | Interviews (VDGIF Headquarters) |
| August 11 | Start polygraphs (VDGIF Headquarters) |
| October 3 | Conditional offer made |
| October 13 - 17 | Psychologist, physical exam & fingerprinting (VDGIF Headquarters) |
| October 24 | Results back from psychologist and exam |
| October 31 | Final offers |
| November 7 | Final offers in hand |
| December 10 | Academy Start Date (ALL applicants must attend the full VDGIF Academy) |
