New Stakeholder Advisory Committee Members

• Stakeholder Advisory Committee

Mr. William Easter (non-mounted fox hunter) and Ms. Robin Weinhold (private landowner, non-consumptive recreationist) have been added to the Stakeholder Advisory Committee. Last week, a majority of Stakeholder Advisory Committee members voted in favor of adding a non-mounted fox hunter to the SAC and balancing that addition with the addition of another private landowner.

Mr. Easter is a leader in the fox hound hunting community and represents many hunters in Virginia. Ms. Weinhold participated in a focus group meeting for private landowners in December where she made very constructive comments and insightful contributions. Both fully support the goal of this project — to provide diverse opportunities for hound hunting in Virginia in a way that is fair, sportsmanlike, and consistent with the rights of private property owners and others.
