Fairy Stone Lake - Fishing Opportunities
Black Bass
The largemouth bass population is dominated by 13-15 inch fish with some bass up to 20 inches. The number of big fish has recently declined but the number of mid sized bass has been increasing. Fairystone is a shallow lake and most bass are found away from the shoreline in deeper water or congregate around the numerous fallen trees scattered around the shoreline.

The bluegill population has remained stable for many years. The largest bluegill average 6 inches. Angling opportunities for sunfish at Fairy Stone Lake should remain good as long as shad are not introduced into the lake.
