Beaver Creek Reservoir - Fishing Opportunities
Largemouth bass
Based on the large number of bass collected during recent surveys, the population appears to be abundant. This is a great place to go if you want to catch lots of bass, but most of them will be in the 10-13-inch range. We did, however, pick up a couple of lunkers too.
Bluegill
Beaver Creek is a great place to take the family for bluegill fishing. The lake is loaded with fish that are relatively easy to catch. A few f the bluegill top 8 inches, which is a great eating size.
Channel catfish
Beaver Creek Reservoir has historically had a great population of shannel catfish. This is another feature of this lake that makes it a great place to take the family fishing. Anglers are encourgaged to take advatage of this under-utilized resource.
