Trout Stream Landowner Permits

The special regulation sections of Mossy Creek (Augusta County) and Buffalo Creek (Rockbridge County) both require angler to have an annual landowner permit. This no cost permit can be obtained by mail or in person at the Verona Regional Office. By mail, anglers must send the name and address for each angler requesting a permit and must enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. Mail requests to Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, P.O. The two special regulation sections of Dan River (Patrick County) require a no cost daily permit from the City of Danville.
